Hi there, friends! You know what's interesting? I noticed that most of my favorite bloggers all have June birthdays, like Leah Bergman of Freutcake, Naomi Davis of Rockstar Dairies, brilliant Jordana Rothman and Sarah Copeland of Real Simple (and Edible Living).
My birthday's coming up next week. I'm not an astrology whizz but it doesn't seem like a coincidence that the ladies I click with and admire the most all happen to share a birth month with me. Plus, Cancers are known to be domestically-focused and we all write about food/home-life in one form or another. What do you think!?

DIY BIRTHDAY CAKE TEA CANDLES
MAKES: 6 candles
6 white tea lights
1 tablespoon nonpareils
1. Preheat the oven to 350˚. Line a rimmed baking
sheet with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the tea lights on the prepared baking sheet
and bake 3 minutes or until slightly melted.
3. Immediately sprinkle the candles with nonpareils. Let sit 5 minutes,
then shake any excess nonpareils off onto the baking sheet. (Roll up the
parchment for easy clean up.)
